We talk to Jay Aston - Singer songwriter for the band Gene Loves Jezebel who rose to fame during the mid to late 80s with hits such as 'Desire' and 'Motion of Love'. The original band featured identical twin brothers, Jay and Michael, and would be embraced by the USA which, as we learn would be a far cry from their upbringing in South Wales. We hear of how after returning from a hitch hiking trip around the UK and Europe at the turn of the 1980s, the young Jay Aston would put wheels in motion to form a rock band which would see him arrive in London and eventually a record deal would bring Gene Loves Jezebel over to the USA and a relationship with a country that would forever change them.
