With a horror pedigree directing the likes of 'Evil Aliens' and 'Doghouse' through to the essential 'Video Nasties - The Definitive Guides Parts 1 & 2', Jake has now turned his attention to one of this countries best kept secrets of the VHS era in Cliff Twemlow. Cliff is the focal point for Jake's new documentary 'Mancunian Man: The Legendary Life of Cliff Twemlow' about an obscure figure even by British B-movie standards. A handsome, no-nonsense Manchester nightclub bouncer who attempted to create a Hollywood of the north in the early '80s and '90s. We discuss how this amazing documentary came to be along with diving into Jake's VHS Horror loving past and the films that shaped him into the director he is today.
